Logo and Branding
During my time at TranScript as a Graphic and Web designer, I have worked on a variety of projects for the company’s clients, which included designing infographics, presentations, posters, business cards and other promotional materials. Furthermore, I have also re-designed the TranScripts own logo and created a presentation that can be sent to clients to promote the company’s services. The presentation was designed in the company’s colours and style and provides the viewers with the information about the company, their services, and the industries they work with.
Website Re-design
I have also designed and developed a new website for TranScript. The old one was created in 2016 and needed a lot of changes and updates. Many of the company’s clients were complaining that they did not like the website at the time, as they found it very hard to use. So, I approached the owner of the company, told them about the compalaints and proposed to designed and develop a new website.
I started by asking some of the company’s client what exactly they did not like in the current website and what improvements would they like to see. The main pain points were identified as:
1. The website was overcrowded with information making it hard to find exactly what you are looking for.
2. Some of the links were not working
3. The navigation was too complicated. There were too many pages to scroll through.
Once the main problems were identified, I started working on the new copy for the website.I designed the new website in Figma and then developed it using WordPress.
The new website only has one page with all of the text split into separate sections. I have also re-wrote the copy for the website, keeping it concise, but still providing the user with enough information about the company and their services.
The launch of the new website was very successful and led to an increase in sales by 30%, as well as a wider recognition of the company on the market. Furthermore, I have asked the company’s clients to provide some feedback on the new website and have received very positive comments about it.
