Overview

My Role

As the Lead UX/UI Designer at Charisma.ai, my responsibilities included:

  • Designing UX/UI solutions for games, websites, and platforms in Figma, as well as iterating the designs based on user testing and feedback. 
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, as well as conducting user and product research. Building and maintaining a design system, creating posters, banners (both digital and for print), presentation templates and various promotional materials and assets.
  • Collaborating with the developers and project managers.
  • Producing and editing videos for social media, as well as trailers for products and services.

Charisma.ai Website Re-design

When the company decided to change the look of their old website, as the lead UX/UI designer in the company, I was tasked with creating the new design for it.

I started by discussing the overall vision for the new website with the team, as well as any technical requirements. I then created the wireframes in Figma, which I later transformed into a high-fidelity prototype. Once the designs were finalised and approved, I prepared the handover documents and materials and continued to work closely with the developers to ensure the smooth implementation of the designs.

Charisma.ai Project Case Studies

Thoughout my time at Charisma, I was responsible for creating simple one-page case studies for the company’s past projects. The main purpose of the these case studies was to be able to show to potential clients what kind of work the company does. Some of the examples can be seen below.

The Kraken Wakes Website

Prior to the release of Charisma’s own game, The Kraken Wakes, I designed a website for it. The main challenge was to make sure that the design of the website fits the visual style of the game itself, while being informative and easy to navigate. I used the game’s official poster as the landing part of the page and blurred it into the background that continues further down to create the illusion of underwater descent. The website is also designed in the games official colours – blue and red.

Charisma.ai Plug 'n' Play for Unity and Unreal Engine​

In September 2023 Charisma.ai released their own Plug ‘n’ Play module for Unity and Unreal Engine which allows easy no-code integration of Charisma’s own platform into the game engines. The module comes with a ready made sample scene, for which I have designed the UI.

Furthermore, as my role included not only design responsibilities, but also video editing, I have created a series of step by step tutorial videos that explain how to connect and use the Plug ‘n’ Play module with both Unity and Unreal Engine.
