Design
I started working on the project by discussing the requirements for the website with the company’s owner. We established what they liked and didn’t like in their current version and what they wanted to have on the new website. Once the initial work brief was done, I started by conducting some research into the target audience as well as a competitor analysis.
Once the research was completed, I moved to the design stage. The client wanted the new website to have a dark background and bright colour accents, so I put together some colour palettes for them to choose from. After presenting the colour palettes to the client and discussing the options, we have decided to go with the dark background, white text and two turquoise-blue colours for accents.

After the main colours for the website have been chosen, I created the wireframes for the new website in Figma. And once they were approved by the client, I started working on designing the high-fidelity prototype. Some screenshots from the old and new website can be seen below.

Once the client had approved the design, I started developing the website. One of the client’s requirements for it was that the website had to be done in a simple way so that they could easily make updates to its content by themselves in the future. With this in mind, I have decided to develop the website using WordPress (the client was already familiar with it) and Elementor Plugin.
After the website was developed and the client was happy with the result, I have prepared all of the design and handover documentation for them. Furthermore, I have written a document with detailed instructions on how to use WordPress and Elementor to update the website.
